We propose with this tutorial to make this butterfly box wire drawn by © claire Rougerie. Author of two books on the technique of wire, Claire Rougerie regularly animates workshops since 2008. This realization allows to learn the basics of creating wire: create a shape, create volume, make hooks, make a pattern.

The box measures finished 13 cm X 12 cm.

The file is composed of a tutorial of 21 pages, a template to print, real size, a board of butterflies "cut off", that is to say that you can print it on a support of your choice (transfer to fabric, colored paper ...) and a board of butterflies on an old paper, to cut.

The 21-page tutorial contains: A step by step text + photos, the list of material (with direct links to our e-shop if you need), a technical part, resources, links.

The tutorial is accessible to beginners. I recommend you practice a little, beforehand, if you start (to make hooks for example). For that, you have to follow the technical part and take your time to discover a new material. This butterfly box is one of the themes of our workshops that work best and each trainee leaves with his cage, even beginners.
