This macramé wallhanging (MATIASMA n° 6) belongs to our series of hangings signed claire ROUGERIE studio.
This is a unique piece entirely knotted in cotton rope.
It represents a cross in its center in tone on tone; unique driftwood support.
Small format, it measures 43 cm wide by 41 cm high, it nevertheless required dozens of hours of work.
This collection was originally created for our first textile exhibition "Aiguille en fête" in Paris in February 2018 but the finishing touches are due in 2023.
Each piece is signed Claire Rougerie on the back in copper wire.
